RING ONE – RIDDEN SHOWING

Class 1 Veteran Horse/Pony 10.15am Horse or Pony over 15 years of age.
Class 2 Senior Ridden Showing To follow Horses to exceed 148cm (14.2hh). Rider any age.All exhibits must be plaited. No Mountain & Moorland.
Class 3 Lead Rein Showing To Follow Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh). Rider 8 years & under on 1.1.17. Snaffle bridles only. Lead Rein must be attached to the nose band. Lead Rein Riders may not enter any other class off the Lead Rein.
Class 4 Novice Ridden Showing To follow Open height, Horse/Pony not to have won a ridden showing class before 1.1.17.
Class 5 First Ridden Showing To follow Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh). Rider 10 years old & under on 11.1.17. Ponies will not canter together; they may canter if they choose in their individual show.
Class 6 Junior Ridden Showing To follow Ponies not to exceed 148cm (14.2hh).  Rider 17 years old & under on 1.1.17. All exhibits must be plaited. No Mountain & Moorland.
Class 7 Open Ridden Cob To Follow Show or Traditional Cob. Open Height. Rider any age.
Class 8 Show Hunter Pony NB 1.pm Ponies not to exceed 153cm (15hh). Rider any age.
Class 9 Coloured, Spotted, & Palomino To follow Open height. Rider any age.
Class 10 Mountain & Moorland To follow Large Breeds. To be shown in their natural state.
Class 11 Ridden Show Hunter Horse To follow Horses to exceed 152cm (15hh). Rider any age.
Class 12 Pure & Part Bred Arab. To follow Open Height. Rider any age.

RING TWO – INHAND

Class 13 Young Stock 10.00am Colt Filly or Gelding any height, 3 years old & under on 1.1.17. No Stallions over 2 years old allowed. All junior handlers must wear protective head gear.
Class 14 Mountain & Moorland To follow To be shown in their natural state. If enough entries the class will be split in to Large & Small sections.
Class 15 Pure & Part Bred Arab To follow Open height.
Class 16 Coloured, Spotted & Palomino To follow Open height
Class 17 Open Cob To Follow Show or traditional Cob. Open height.
Class 18 Over 148cm (14.2hh) To follow Horses to exceed 148cm. (14.2hh). No Mountain & Moorland.
Class 19 Show Hunter Pony. To follow Ponies 153cm (15hh) & under
Class 20 Show Hunter Horse NB 1.15pm Horses to exceed 153cm (15hh).
Class 21 Under 148cm (14.2hh) To follow Ponies not to exceed 148cm (14.2hh).Young stock in this class to mature at given height. No Mountain & Moorland
Class 22 Veteran Horse or Pony To follow Horse or Pony over 15 years of age.
Class 23 Junior Handler To follow 12 years old & under. To be judged on the handlers ability to show the pony.
Class 24 Junior Handler To follow 13 to 17 years old. To be judged on the handlers ability to show the pony.
Class 25 Senior Handler To follow 18 years old & over. To be judged on the handlers ability to show the horse.

RING THREE – EQUITATION

Snaffle Bridles only, no Martingales, Boots or Bandages in all Equitation classes

Class 26 Beginners Equitation 10.15am. Rider any age, Rider not to have won an equitation class before 1.1.17.Rider may continue to enter as a beginner all season but may not enter any other equitation class,
Class 27 Junior Equitation To follow Rider 13 years & under on 1.1.17.
Class 28 Intermediate Equitation. To follow Rider over 13 years but under 18 years on 1.1.17.
Class 29 First Ridden Equitation. To follow Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh). Rider 10 years old & under on 1.1.17. Ponies will not canter together; but may canter in their individual show.
Class 30 Lead Rein Equitation. To follow Ponies not to exceed 128cm (12.2hh). Rider 8 years old & under on 1.1.17.
Class 31 Senior Equitation To follow Rider 18 years old & over on 1.1.17.
Class 32 Riding Club Horse/Pony To follow Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age. They will be expected to ride a figure of eight & jump a small jump.

RING THREE – FUN CLASSES

Class 33 Bonny Pony NB 1:00pm Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age.
Class 34 Best Figure of Eight To follow Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age.
Class 35 Nicest Mane & Tail To follow Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age.
Class 36 Pony/Horse with the Cheekiest Face To follow Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age.
Class 37 Pony/Horse the Judge would most like to take home. To follow Any size Horse or Pony. Rider any age.

RING FOUR – BEST TURNED OUT

Class 38 Senior Best Turned Out 9.45am Rider 18 years & over on 1.1.17. Any Size Horse or Pony.
Class 39 Junior Best turned out. To follow Rider 17 years & under on 1.1.17. Any Size Horse or Pony.
Class 40 Lead Rein Best Turned Out. To follow Rider 8 years & under on 1.1.17. Ponies not to exceed 138cm (13.2hh)

RING SIX – DRESSAGE

Class 41 Walk & Trot. Intro A, B, C 10:30am Until 12:30pm Apr: A (08). May: B (09). June: C (16). Jul: A (09). Aug: B (08). Sep: C (16).  Trophy Show: A (08). Lead Rein Riders may enter the Intro class.
Class 42 Prelim 10:30am Until 12:30pm Apr: P1 (06). May: P2 (16). Jun: P7 (02). Jul: P12 (05). Aug: P13 (06). Sep: P14 (06). Trophy Show: P2 (06)
Class 43 Novice 10:30am Until 12:30pm Apr: N24 (10). May: N27 (07). Jun: N28 (08). Jul: N30 (06). Aug: N30 (06). Sep: N34 (09). Trophy Show: N30 (06)

Working Hunter Clear Round. 10:00am until 11:00am. No entries taken after 10:45am.  £2.50 per round.  

RING FIVE – WORKING HUNTER.

Competitors may NOT enter the Novice & the Open Class. Previous Novice Points Winners may NOT enter the Novice Class.

Class 44 Beginners Working Hunter 11.30am. Any size Horse or Pony. Including Lead Rein.  Height of Fences: Cross Poles.
Class 45 Novice Working Hunter Pony To follow Ponies not to exceed 153cm (15hh). Rider 18 years old & under on 1.1.17.  Maximum height of fences 2’3”. Rule 10 will apply.
Class 46 Mountain & Moorland Working Hunter To follow To be shown in their natural state. 133cm (13hh) & under, Maximum height of fences 2’3”. Over 133cm (13hh). Maximum height of fences 2’6:.
Class 47 Open Working Hunter Pony To Follow Ponies not to exceed 153cm (15hh). Rider 18 years & under. On 1.1.17.  Maximum height of fences 2’6”.
Class 48 Novice Working Hunter Horse. To follow Horses to exceed 153cm (15hh). Rider any age.  Maximum height of fences 2’6”. Rider any age. Rule 10 will apply.
Class 49 Working Hunter Horse. To follow Horses to exceed 153cm (15hh). Rider any age.  Maximum height of fences 2’9”.

Rule 16: A rider going in Lead Rein Classes may not enter any classes off the Lead Rein.

Rule 8: Stallions over 2 years old are not allowed on the field under any circumstances. Colts must wear a suitable bridle & bit and be handles by persons over 14 years of age. Junior Handlers must wear protective headgear.

Rule 10: In the case of a rider over 18 years riding a smaller pony, the age of the rider determines the class. For a rider under 18 riding a larger horse the size of the horse determines the class.

COMPETITORS MUST BE CORRECTLY DRESSED IN ALL CLASSES. EVERYBODY MOUNTED MUST WEAR PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR BRITISH PAS015:1998 OR 2011 AND MUST HAVE THE BSI KITEMARK. VG1.040 (2014-12) MUST HAVE THE BSI KITE MARK. SNELL E2001 MUST HAVE OFFICIAL SNELL LABEL AND NUMBER. AS/NZ 3838 (2006 onwards) MUST HAVE SAI GLOBAL MARK.

THE HATS MUST BE WORN WITH THE HARNESS PROPERLY FASTENED: FAILURE TO DO SO WILL INCUR ELIMINATION. NEITHER THE CLUB NOR ANY PERSON ACTING ON ITS BEHALF SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURY, ACCIDENT OR LOSS TO ANY COMPETITOR, SPECTATOR OR ANIMAL.

WE WILL BE ENDEAVORING TO HOLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN ALL 5 RINGS. (Depending on Sponsorship).

ALL 1st & 2nd PLACED ARE INVITED TO COMPETE.  THE CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FACEBOOK BEFORE EACH SHOW. DRESSAGE CHAMPIONSHIP The two with the highest percentage will be the winners. (FUN CLASSES & BTO NOT INCLUDED).

* 15+ Horse & Pony Events. These classes are aimed exclusively for horses & ponies aged 15 years & over giving competitors the opportunity to compete at 15+ National Dressage Championship Event. To enter the Championships events the rider and horse/pony will be required to join 15+ and the qualification cards must be returned within 14 days of the qualifying show. TSR SHOWING FINALS -This show a qualifier for the 2017 TSR Showing Finals Qualify and enter ANY of the Finals Central, East Anglia, North West, North East, South East, South, Wales & South West or Scottish. You Do Not have to be TSR member to qualify or enter a final. The Rider/Handler qualifies and can enter any horse/pony in any number of finals!
TSR Riders Finals – 1st & 2nd riders qualify and will receive a qualification card in the ring.
TSR In Hand Finals – The two highest placed Handlers with a TSR In Hand Card will qualify in any
In Hand class. Handlers MUST have their cards signed in the ring by the judge/steward; cards are available FREE from the TSR website. BSHA Grass Roots & SHGB Riding Club Champs – With a TSR qualification card you can also enter the BSHA Grass Roots Champs in Sept at Addington Equestrian Centre – You do not have to be a BSHA member to qualify or enter the final.
